Announcement from Nicholas Polanin, chair of the Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources, RCE
Please join me in welcoming Hassan Mahmood Warriach to our Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR) at Rutgers Cooperative Extension (RCE). He starts on July 1 in RCE’s Warren County office in Belvidere, NJ, joining the team to support commercial livestock production and agronomy following his relocation from Pakistan.
Warriach is a livestock veterinarian with 18 years of experience in teaching, applied research, and extension, with an extensive research portfolio in applied systems research across Australia and Pakistan. While this position was filled last September, Laura Frederico’s collaboration with Gina Antonatos at Rutgers Global’s International Student and Scholar Services has now made this announcement a reality.
He holds a Ph.D. in Theriogenology from the University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan. He was most recently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Warriach also holds a master’s degree is in Animal Reproduction and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of Agriculture in Faisalabad, Pakistan. Since 2015, He has served as the Director of the Institute of Continuing Education and Extension at the University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Pakistan.
