I’m delighted to welcome Jennifer Salt Taylor as our new FCHS Educator in Passaic County who will focus on supporting equitable and sustainable community food systems in the county.
Jennifer has focused her professional life on community nutrition and increasing access to healthy foods. She started her career as the nutrition manager at the Center for Family Resources, a Head Start program in Passaic County. In 2018, she became the director of SNAP-Ed at Zufall Health.
She earned her a bachelor’s degree in in Nutrition and Food Science from Montclair State University and completed her dietetic internship there. Jennifer received a full scholarship to complete her master’s degree in Health Education and Promotion with a specialization in Health Policy and Advocacy from Walden University in 2016.
