Please welcome Abigail Kesely to her new role as the State 4-H Senior Program Coordinator in the State 4-H Office effective April 17, 2023.
Abigail comes with a wealth of 4-H experience – for more than 17 years she has been a part of the Department of 4-H Youth Development. Most recently, she served as the Senior Program Coordinator for Bergen County 4-H. Prior to that, she worked with Middlesex County 4-H in a county-funded position.
Abigail was also a 4-H member as a youth and served as a 4-H volunteer as a young adult.
In her new role, Abigail will oversee the state 4-H civic engagement program portfolio. She will also oversee state-level marketing and communications for New Jersey 4-H. She will continue her role overseeing the state 4-H Shooting Sports program as well.
Her credentials include a bachelor’s in sociology from Rutgers University. She has expertise in 4-H club program management, teen leadership, and the overall 4-H program marketing and public relations.
Abigail’s previous professional and personal experiences will be a tremendous asset as she transitions into this new role within the 4-H Department.
