On December 5, 2019 more than 60 former faculty and staff of the Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences and the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station, along with their guests, attended the annual Retired Faculty Luncheon in the Rectangle Room of the Neilson Dining Hall. The event began with the retired cohort being welcomed by the SEBS Student Ambassadors and then meeting and mingling with current faculty and staff, as well as their fellow retired colleagues.
Guests enjoyed catching up with each other over a delicious buffet, featuring grilled salmon, lemon crusted chicken, and penne marinara provided by Rutgers University Catering. Dean Robert M. Goodman provided a lead into the new year with some news and developments at the School and the Experiment Station.
As is tradition, many attendees took home a lovely poinsettia from the Rutgers Floriculture Greenhouse to decorate their homes for the holidays.
The 2020 luncheon will be held on December 3rd.
