Which agri-business operator or farmer doesn’t want to learn more about farm business planning? Studies show that entrepreneurs who complete a business plan are six times more likely than others to build a successful business. Rutgers Cooperative Extension is offering two live video webinars on writing business plans and marketing.
The first webinar, “The Do’s and Don’ts of Writing Your Business Plan,” is offered on Aug. 15 from 12-1 p.m., and again from 7-8 p.m. The second webinar, “Identifying and Reaching Your Target Market,” is offered on Aug. 16, from 12-1 p.m., and again from 7-8 p.m.
Participants may also attend the live presentation at Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County, 355 Courthouse-S, Dennis Road in Cape May Court House, New Jersey, or join the webinar remotely from their computer. Participants are asked to sign up and to give themselves plenty of time, about 15-20 minutes, to download the necessary software and updates. Contact Jenny Carleo, Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County, at 609-465-5115 or by emailing carleo@NJAES.rutgers.edu for more details.
The webinars are part of the ongoing Annie’s Project: Farm Women Conference, funded by the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture Risk Management Agency and Rutgers Cooperative Extension. Cooperating agencies in the project include Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey; the U.S. Department of Agriculture; and County Boards of Chosen Freeholders. Rutgers Cooperative Extension is a unit of the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station.
