Announcement from Paul Elwood, Vice Dean of Administration, SEBS
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Regina Williams to the position of Director in the Office of Planning and Budgets for the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences and the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station, effective September 1, 2022. Regina had been serving as Associate Director of Planning and Budgets prior to this appointment.
Regina joined Rutgers in 2008 and has worked in several capacities in the Office of Planning and Budgets. Prior to coming to Rutgers, Regina’s experience included over 16 years of diverse financial operations and project management responsibilities. She also has experience in financial management and development and has advanced through progressively more responsible positions during her career at Rutgers.
In her new role in The Office of Planning and Budgets she supports the Executive Dean in the strategic management of all resources for the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences and the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station and ensures efficient and effective utilization of all funds to best support the strategic goals of the school and the station. This includes planning, developing, coordinating, and implementing procedures for the creation, control, and reporting of the budgets for the school and the station, which includes state and federal appropriations, tuition revenues, and all other resources. The Office of Planning and Budgets also serves the various units of the school and station by assisting them with budget related issues and providing advice on best practices.
Away from work, Regina has always enjoyed having a physically active lifestyle and, she has recently taken up hiking and biking trails throughout the tri-state area.
