Lester R. Brown (AG ’55), world-renowned environmentalist and Rutgers Distinguished Alumnus, speaks with RadioTimes host Marty Moss-Coane on WHYY Public Radio in Philadelphia. Brown’s new memoir Breaking New Ground: A Personal History, includes his upbringing on a farm in South Jersey and his time at Rutgers as an undergraduate student. In this broadcast, Brown recalls the public speaking class he was required to take at Rutgers that was taught by Richard Reager.
