Passion Puddle at Red Oak Lane on the George H. Cook Campus was teeming with festive activity on September 17 as Community Day drew close to 2,000 students, staff and faculty to the annual event.
Community Day celebrates the start of a new academic year on the George H. Cook and Douglass campuses, bringing the community of students, staff and faculty together to enjoy live music and share a barbecue under a tent on the Passion Puddle lawn. At the same time, the students learn how to become involved in organized campus activities and gain access to services across the university.
2013 Community Day
Approximately 70 groups, representing student organizations and administrative units across the New Brunswick campus set up tables along Red Oak Lane. Free giveaways at the tables enticed community members to stop by and learn more about the many clubs, volunteer activities, and academic and administrative services available to students across the university.
