Igniting Your Leadership Potential – Certificate in Leadership Development
The Certificate in Leadership Development is a series of Leadership Development courses taught online. Courses are designed for youth in grades 8-13 and offer an opportunity for them to learn about leadership, gain knowledge, sharpen their leadership skills, and prepare to lead. Youth will earn digital badges for each course they complete and can earn a Certificate in Leadership Development by completing four online courses.
Registration is OPEN for the three courses that will be offered starting on OCTOBER 5. Each course meets 1.5 hours per week for four weeks. Youth will log-in once a week for a face-to-face with the instructor and then complete some assignments asynchronously. The cost per course is $25.00. Youth can register for one or both of the courses. The Fall 2020 courses are:
The Voice of Leadership – This course will be held every Monday in October (October 5, 12, 19, & 26, 2020), 7:00-8:30 pm.
Launching into Leadership – This course will be held every Tuesday in October (October 6, 13, 20 & 27, 2020), 7:00-8:30 pm.
Leading Through Service – This course will be held every Thursday in October (October 8, 15, 22, & 29, 2020), 7:00-8:30 pm.
