Carol Bagnell
Message from SEBS Interim Executive Dean Laura Lawson:
It is my pleasure to announce that Dr. Carol Bagnell will serve as Chair of the Department of Animal Sciences. Dr. Bagnell came to Rutgers in 1988. Her research focuses on reproductive biology, with a particular focus on swine ovary an uterus. Her research has been supported with federal funding from the NIH and USDA for over 30 years. Dr. Bagnell is a dedicated teacher and recently was awarded the SEBs Teaching Excellence award in 2019.
Dr. Bagnell served as chair for six years and most recently as Director of the Graduate Program in Endocrinology and Animal Biosciences.

And thank you to Wendie Cohick, who steps down as chair and now serves as Dean and Director for Research at SEBS and NJAES.
