Sunshine and a decorative white picket fence greeted returning alumni at the 2nd annual “Let’s Do Lunch with the Executive Dean” at Ag Field Day at Rutgers Day on April 26.
More than 120 alumni, spouses, children, retired faculty and friends of the School (and a couple of really cute pooches) attended the barbecue event that featured the usual delicious cookout fare, plus New Jersey wines and craft beers and a special sheet cake celebrating the 150th anniversary of the School.
Executive Dean Bob Goodman was host for the afternoon, with alumnus Jorge Berkowitz (Class of ’68 and GSNB ’74 and ’78) as the honorary alumni co-host. Both greeted guests and spoke briefly – Bob welcoming all and giving them a short update on the School, and Jorge reminiscing about his days on campus and the great impact it had on his life’s path and career.
