Rutgers Gardens offers spring and summer ventures for children to explore and discover the garden environment.
Family Garden Club involves monthly Saturday morning workshops that are a great opportunity for children to learn the skills to grow their own vegetables and to develop a connection with nature and an appreciation of healthy foods. Workshop dates are April 5, May 3, June 7, June 21, 9:30-11:30 am at the Rutgers Gardens.
Exploration Summer Camp at Rutgers Gardens is a week long day camp for children who are interested in learning about the natural world by exploring plants, wildlife and varied environments throughout Rutgers Gardens. Camp dates are July 7-July 11, 8:30 am-4:30 pm.
