Clint Burgher:
How long have you been working at the school and experiment station and what other positions have you held, if any? I have been working at the farm since 1994. I received both my B.S. (1989) and M.S. (1991) in Animal Science.
What do you like best about your job? Seeing and helping the students; I’m impressed with their eagerness to learn, mature, and grow.
Roseanne Vaccaro:
How long have you been working at the school and experiment station and what other positions have you held, if any? I came to work for Rutgers University 14 years ago after managing the N.J. Museum of Agriculture, a 501c3 organization, on the Cook Campus.
Have you worked on any major projects/grants/events that are noteworthy? I was employed at Rutgers in November 1999 as an Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper and have worked in the departments of Entomology, Nutritional Sciences, Animal Sciences, and Human Ecology prior to joining DAFRE. My position is challenging. I work with a leading team of economists managing state funds and grant awards and perform other duties to keep my department running smoothly. I am now a Business Assistant II and I earned a Business/Accounting Certificate. I bring diverse bookkeeping, office and management skills from years of banking and insurance to the university.
What do you like best about your job? The thing I love most about my position is seeing the wonderful work our faculty do in regards to their teaching and research all over the world and the impact they’ve made on the people whose lives they have touched! I am very proud to be a part of the DAFRE team.
Danelle Miley:
How long have you been working at the school and experiment station and what other positions have you held, if any? I’ve been working at SEBS/NJAES for almost five years. In fact, August 27 marked my five-year anniversary. Prior to DAFRE, I worked on the College Ave Campus in the Campus Information Services department and I was there for six years.
Have you worked on any major projects/grants/events that are noteworthy? As the departmental secretary, I assist in many of the DAFRE projects, all equally major and noteworthy.
What do you like best about your job? There are so many areas of my job that I thoroughly enjoy. I especially like having the opportunity to work with great faculty members and assisting in areas within the department that enhance my knowledge.
