At the annual Baccalaureate Ceremony of the School, held on May 3, four students were awarded Departmental Endowed Scholarship Awards in recognition of their excellence in academics, research, and/or service: Dale Levitt, Susan Eastman, Divya Ramnath, and Amanda Cloke. In addition, Leon Schermerhorn (specialist, IR-4) was given the Rex Gilbreath Memorial Award in recognition of his involvement in undergraduate teaching, leadership, and dedication to the field of animal sciences.
