“SEBS has been a huge part of my growth and transformation as a student and the opportunities have helped me as a person and an athlete.”
My name is Meg Schneid and I am a senior and dual degree student studying Landscape Architecture. In addition, I am a four-year varsity athlete on the women’s rowing team. The highlight of my academic career here at Rutgers is the opportunity to travel and study the cultural landscape of western Montana. This trip was funded by the DeBoer Travel Prize given to me by the Landscape Architecture Department. Going forward, I am very interested in continuing to study cultural landscapes and their significance. SEBS has given me the opportunity to study what I am interested in as well as the flexibility to compete at the highest level of my sport while getting a world class education. My professors and classmates are my number one fans and support my success in athletics and academics. The relationships I’ve formed I will take with me through the rest of my life.
