With ‘weather in her bones,’ a passion for teaching, and a flair for the Argentine tango, this multifaceted alumnus has faced adversity in her life and come out on top to inspire young scientists and earn the title #HeroProf! She has worked at NASA studying cloud microphysics and precipitation processes, determining the contribution pollution makes to drought conditions, and is a faculty member of the School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology in the Department of Meteorology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
