Winter is waning and it’s almost time to start prepping gardens and yards for Spring. As our weather grows warmer, Rutgers University is holding its Annual Home Gardeners School for master and novice alike. A tradition for 37 years, the Home Gardeners School will offer 35 courses in gardening and landscaping in a one-day session on March 23. Each year upwards of 500 people attend the school, said assistant director of New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station (NJAES) Office of Continuing Professional Education Ken Karmichael.
